Shae Warnick

Biography

Shae Warnick is an artist and naturalist from Southern Indiana. She received a BFA in painting and printmaking from BYU-Idaho and an MFA in painting from BYU. She spends a great deal of time exploring wilderness areas and working with natural history museums and research institutions, including the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, The Punta Cana Foundation Group in the Dominican Republic, and the Lloyd Library and Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her paintings are inspired by scientific specimens, her observations in nature, and her extensive research into natural history.

Shae currently teaches painting at BYU-Idaho and works with several art galleries across the country.
