BYU men’s basketball has dropped two straight games to top-ranked opponents, falling to No. 16 in the latest AP Top 25 after slow starts against Arizona and Kansas. Despite the losses, the Cougars have proven they can compete with the nation’s best as they prepare for a challenging Big 12 schedule and a push toward March Madness.

Sister Neihlee Muir has seen parallels in her job working construction management and living the gospel of Jesus Christ. There is a practice in construction known as Critical Path Method, involving exact steps that must be done in sequential order, with each step relying on the completion of the previous. She says the Lord also has specific steps to accomplish the goals He has given to His disciples.

The magic of Neverland is coming to Blackfoot as the Blackfoot Community Players present “Peter Pan Jr.” Audiences of all ages will delight in seeing Peter, Wendy and the Lost Boys take the stage at the Nuart Theatre in an adventurous and whimsical performance.

The Rexburg Soup Kitchen is a new organization helping to serve the community in Rexburg by offering hot meals weekly to those in need. They are currently holding a “Souper-Bowl Food Drive” seeking donations of specific dry and canned food items for the pantry.

Idaho Falls District #91 has kicked off its 20th annual Souper Bowl, where Idaho Falls High School and Skyline High School compete to collect the most food and monetary donations for the Idaho Falls Community Food Basket. The weeklong rivalry-driven fundraiser aims to reach 100,000 cans to help local families facing food insecurity while continuing a long-standing community tradition.
