Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

FERPA protects educational privacy by safeguarding student records. Students have the right to review their records and request amendments to the records.

Consistent with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), BYU-Idaho generally prohibits the release of student educational records without the express consent of the student.
