Sister Andrea Muñoz Spannaus was sustained as Second Counselor in the Young Women General Presidency on April 1, 2023. She began serving on August 1, 2023. Sister Spannaus was serving on the Relief Society Advisory Council at the time of her call. She and her husband served as mission leaders in the Mexico Cuernavaca Mission (2009–2012).

Other service includes early morning seminary teacher, ward Relief Society, Young Women and Primary president, and full-time missionary in the Argentina Resistencia Mission.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Profesorado de Educación Inicial Sara Eccleston in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Later, she also enjoyed additional studies in art and interior design.

Andrea Veronica Muñoz Spannaus was born May 18, 1968, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She married Alin Spannaus on October 22, 1992. They are the parents of two children.
