The Marshall Public Library in Pocatello is running its “Garden to Give” campaign for the 7th summer since it began in 2019.

People who survived the flood are remembering the disaster and the city of Rexburg is heading up activities to help people remember, to connect with each other and to serve others.

To mark the 50th anniversary of the Teton Dam flood, Rexburg is hosting a lighthearted pageant this Friday at Porter Park. Organized by survivors Pat Hepworth and Gwyn Harris to bring "a little levity" to the tragedy, the event features three local survivors: Jackie Sare, Anna Bjornn, and 95-year-old Verla Archibald all competing for the title of "Flood Mud Queen." The evening will include talent routines, a group musical number, and a crowning ceremony.
The Actors’ Repertory Theatre of Idaho presents less seen and interesting plays to the Eastern Idaho area. Their newest production “Dearly Departed” opens on June 5 and auditions for their next season are on June 8.
BYU basketball could be strongly represented in the 2026 NBA Draft, led by projected No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybansta and second-round prospect Richie Saunders. Kennard Davis Junior also declared for the draft, but he is expected to return to college basketball at the University of Missouri next season.
