Aquatic Oasis has been selling coral and exotic animals for a couple of years from its location in the Pine Ridge Mall, but they now need to relocate because the Pine Ridge Mall is closing at the end of May for demolition.

The business is asking for people to come and help them as they navigate this troubling time. The company specializes in selling coral, frogs and fish for aquariums, they also sell exotic pets like snakes, geckos, tarantellas and other reptiles.

“The Pine Ridge Mall proper will be demolished as far as I know and then replaced with a Target,” said Ross Gregersen, the owner of Aquatic Oasis. “We have been told along with all of the other stores, our lease is over in the next month, month and a half. And unfortunately for us, we're a pet store. And so just boxing up our product and trying to find another small location is a little bit more difficult because we have live animals, we're taking care of.”

Gregersen says he has a few locations, but nothing is certain at this point. In order to move all the coral, fish and other creatures, it needs a location. The mall told him he needs to leave by May 31, though he intends to leave before that point.

“Hopefully by the end of April, we'll be open and maybe by the end of May, we'll be fully ready to go with just tons of beautiful livestock and ready to supply our customers,” he said.

They are still taking orders from their online store; just click here. You can click here for the store’s GoFundMe.
