Elyse Krout

I'm from a small town in Washington state and am the youngest of seven children, with 15 amazing nieces and nephews. Family means everything to me! I’m currently a freshman at BYU–Idaho, majoring in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary emphasis.

I've always loved connecting with people and learning their stories. I took my first communications class during my third semester and quickly fell in love with the field—especially the idea of becoming a sports reporter. I currently work at BYU–Idaho Radio, where I report on campus entertainment, community events, and local politics.
