BYU-Idaho held the inauguration ceremony for President Alvin F. Meredith III, the 18th president of BYU-Idaho on Tuesday, October 10.
Brandie Miguel is the Student Leadership and Events coordinator at BYU-Idaho. She delivered the devotional address on October 3, 2023, titled, “Living the Mission of BYU-Idaho.” In her talk, she discussed three key attributes of what makes a disciple leader and living the mission of the university.

Sister Villar discussed the importance of setting goals and filling one’s life with things of eternal significance. Elder Villar talked about how disciples of Jesus Christ make things happen by taking action in education, leadership, and peacemaking.

Meredith III and his wife Sister Jennifer Meredith welcomed students to the new semester and invited them to come to devotional dressed in their Sunday best, to attend the temple regularly and to live the Honor Code and Dress and Grooming standards with honesty and integrity.
