Since the early 2000s, BYU-Idaho has supported students in their aspirations in getting life-long careers through a career fair once a semester.
Companies from all over send alumni to the fair to tell students about the companies they now work for and what they are looking for in new employees or interns.
The Career Fair is also an opportunity for colleges to attract new students for their graduate programs.
But for the last three years, the Career Fair was suspended because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But today, it returns and it's bigger than ever.
With 100 companies to choose from and more than 30 universities offering graduate degrees of all different types, this makes for a good year to attend the Career Fair.
Some of the companies include Allegiant Air, Proctor & Gamble and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Janet Barton is one of the organizers of the event. She works at the Career Center in the Manwaring Center to help those who need a resumé reviewed or a cover letter written. She helps students apply for the job of their dreams. These resources are free to all students.
The Career Fair happens at the BYU-Idaho Center basketball courts on Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Click here for more information.
