BYU-Idaho will host First Friday tonight, an event to celebrate the completion of the first week of the semester.

This event is for everyone from the new students to the returning students. Tickets at the door are $7 and presell are $6.

"This is just showcasing the types of events and activities that we can provide here on campus," said Tyler Richey, the Campus Life director. "It really is like, how can we at BYU-Idaho really try and shine so bright with an event like this that you’re not going to want to be anywhere else."

Students can enjoy an outer space theme for this event and have fun with a dance that hosts a DJ from Utah for music that is out of this world. Ice cream will be served as well.

"Maybe, try and bring a date, practice for date night 'cause date night is going to be coming up the week after that," Richey said. "First Friday is a great way to do that, to try and meet people. Come with groups, maybe do a group date or try and meet someone and just come and have a good time."
