BYU-Idaho and its Department of Theatre and Dance will host a pair of family-friendly comedy shows called Comic Frenzy.

The shows are this Saturday from 7-8:30 p.m. and 9-10:30 p.m. The shows will happen at the Snow Building's room 105, also known as the Snow Theatre.

“Comic Frenzy, back in the day, was just a student-run group that eventually the university decided to turn into a class and so, it is an audition-based class that you can take,” said Janice Munk, the class's teacher.

Here, nine to 12 students will show off their skills in long and short-form content and improv comedy as they work to make everyone in the audience laugh.

"I used to be a student in Comic Frenzy. We were playing a game called blind freeze and so it’s one where two people are doing a scene and then somebody yells, 'Freeze!' and a person that had their back turned away, they turn around and then have to go and they have to pick one person to take their position of and have the same physical pose," Munk said.
