BYU-Idaho has always been a school with an international reach that most people don’t give them credit for. Now, for the first time since 2016, the College of Business and Communication will have an Experience Europe Academic Tour. It will be held this fall. Two information sessions will be on Feb. 20 and 27.
“We take students for about 23 days. We leave from Salt Lake City and fly to London and then we go to London and Paris To Frankfurt, Germany to Switzerland and to Italy and we just visit businesses during those times and so, we just spend time learning about what business is like in Europe,” said David Barrus, one of the organizers of the event.
These meetings have information for students interested in exploring Europe. Locations, places to visit and more will be discussed at the event. There will also be pizza at the event.
“Some people haven't been to Europe, this is a great opportunity to go travel, to learn. As we travel and we go and see other people in other cultures, our appreciation for God's children all over the world increases. This is an opportunity to learn more about how people live in an area that some people have never been before,” Barrus said.
The sessions will take place in Spori 035 on Feb. 20 from 5 - 6 p.m. and Feb. 27 from 11:30 - 12:30 p.m. For more information, click here.
