As BYU-Idaho goes dormant during the holiday period, many activities come and go. but one that returns each semester is country dancing.
Country dancing is as old as pioneers crossing the plains and is a strongly held tradition here at BYU-Idaho.
Danielle Gardner from Arizona, is the student director of the activity here on campus.
"There is a culture with country dancing, there is a lot of people who go," she said. "It's actually one of our biggest hits on campus."
Here you can go and learn how to dance with a 1-hour instruction period.
While it does cost $3 with your I-Card, it can be a well worth it experience for people who like to socialize and maybe even take a date to this as well.
The events happen, next semester, on Wednesdays from 7 to 11 p.m. Instruction is the first hour.
