The Entrepreneur Society at BYU-Idaho is gearing up for an exciting pitch competition. It will feature a panel of distinguished judges and promises an evening of opportunity for students. This Shark Tank-styled event will be a significant milestone for the society, which aims to cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit in students and provides real-world business experiences for them as well.

There was a record number of travelers for Independence Day, but gas prices remain stable in the Gem State. AAA reports that in Idaho, the average price for a gallon of regular gas is $3.61, which is three cents less expensive than it was a month ago and 32 cents less than a year ago.

BYU-Idaho alumnus Jake Hartner works as an ancestral living skills instructor and teaches primitive pottery workshops. In these classes, students learn to gather their own clay, make their own firing pit and create functional ceramic pieces to take home with them.
