BYU-Idaho’s Campus Christmas event is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit. The annual event even has a few new tricks up its sleeve this year.

BYU-Idaho’s newest podcast, “The Roots of the Mighty Oaks,” explores the history of the university by diving into the stories of the people whose names are on the buildings on campus.

The local charities featured in the Light the World Giving Machine in Rexburg were unveiled during a Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce forum on Wednesday. The charities will have items people can “purchase” ranging from $10 to $250.

The Barrus Concert Hall in the Eliza R. Snow Building will be ringing with classical music this Thursday evening as the BYU-Idaho Symphony Orchestra performs once again.

Soma Jiu-Jitsu teaches students how to defend themselves using the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu method. They also teach morals to their students of all ages. Cody Miller interviewed James Emfield, the owner of the academy in Rexburg about this business.

Elder Karl D. Hirst, a General Authority Seventy for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, taught BYU-Idaho students to rethink how repentance can help them progress in their lifelong journey to become better disciples of Jesus Christ in his devotional address on Tuesday.
