Suggested Course Sequence
Semester 1-4 courses must be complete before beginning the core nursing sequence in semesters 5-8. Semesters 5-8 are consecutive and track overrides will be applied with no deferments accepted.
Although HCA 280 (Medical Terminology) is not a required course for the Nursing Program, it is strongly suggested.

-Core courses (*in the table) must be complete or in process at the time of application: CHEM 101, CHEM 101L, PSYCH 111, BIO 264, BIO 264L, BIO 265, and BIO 265L
-Pre-requisite courses include the core courses listed above and the following: NURS 105, MATH 221B, PSYCH 201, NUTR 150, BIO 381, BIO 221, and BIO 222. Grades in all prerequisite courses are required prior to beginning the Nursing Program.
-BIO 264, BIO 264L, BIO 265, and BIO 265L must be completed with a "B-" or higher. A “C-“ or higher must be maintained in all other prerequisite and major courses.
-Students may repeat/retake a total of two (2) nursing prerequisite core courses.
