Tracy Y. Browning, Second Counselor in the Primary General Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, will address 2,815 graduates at Brigham Young University-Idaho’s 2024 Winter Semester Commencement on Thursday, April 11, 2024. The event will be held at 12:45 p.m. in the BYU-Idaho Center and streamed live at byui.edu/live/video.
The university will award 2,101 bachelor’s degrees and 800 associate degrees. Of the graduates, 1,652 are women, and 1,163 are men. Campus-based students make up 1,644 of this semester’s graduates, while 1,171 of the graduates are online students, and 1,280 of those graduating started their college career as BYU-Pathway Worldwide students.
Tracy Y. Browning was sustained as Second Counselor in the Primary General Presidency on April 2, 2022. Prior to her call, Sister Browning was serving on the Relief Society General Advisory Council. Sister Browning has served in numerous Church callings, including ward and stake Relief Society presidency counselor, as a Relief Society and Sunday School teacher, and in the Young Women organization.
Tracy Yeulande was born October 9, 1976, in New Rochelle, New York, in the United States. She grew up in Jamaica in the West Indies, and in New Jersey and New York. She married Brady Browning on May 2, 1997. They are the parents of two children.
Sister Browning studied at St. John’s University. She has worked in financial services for 15 years and is now an account services director in the Church’s Publishing Services Department. Sister Browning has also volunteered with various community and civic organizations.
