REXBURG, Idaho — The Brigham Young University-Idaho Collegiate Singers will perform with the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square on Sunday, March 23, at the Tabernacle in Salt Lake City.

The Collegiate Singers will join the Tabernacle Choir in their weekly broadcast of “Music and the Spoken Word.” The group will perform two pieces alone, “I Believe” by Ēriks Ešenvalds and “Hold On!” by Moses Hogan, and will join the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra on the program’s finale. The public is invited to attend.

In connection with their biennial appearance on “Music and the Spoken Word,” the choir will also perform a full concert program celebrating the Easter season at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Salt Lake City on Saturday, March 22, at 7:00 p.m. As the price of admission, concertgoers are invited to donate food items to support the Utah Food Bank. St. Ambrose is located at 2315 E. Redondo Ave.

As one of the premier off-campus performing choirs at BYU-Idaho, Collegiate Singers includes many of the finest vocalists on campus. With 45 singers, the group provides audiences an exciting experience with a wide variety of musical styles and periods.

The Collegiate Singers generally tour every other year in addition to many on- and off-campus performances. In 2023, in addition to their regular concert series, the Collegiate Singers toured Texas and Oklahoma. Next year, they will tour Alberta, Canada.
