GRAMMY Award-Winning Third Coast Percussion to Perform at BYU-Idaho

The BYU-Idaho Department of Music is proud to present GRAMMY Award-winning ensemble Third Coast Percussion in concert on Friday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the Barrus Concert Hall. This highly anticipated performance will bring one of the most innovative and internationally celebrated percussion quartets in the world to campus for an unforgettable evening of music.

Based in Chicago, Third Coast Percussion is a GRAMMY Award-winning quartet and GRAMMY-nominated composer collective that has spent more than fifteen years redefining the classical music experience. Known for bold collaborations, inventive programming and dynamic stage presence, the ensemble consistently delivers performances that surprise and inspire audiences.

The group has earned national acclaim for its “commandingly elegant” performances (New York Times), the “rare power” of its recordings (Washington Post) and “an inspirational sense of fun and curiosity” (Minnesota Star-Tribune). Their work seamlessly blends virtuosic musicianship with creativity and innovation, offering audiences a fresh and engaging concert experience.

With performances in 38 states and Washington, D.C., and international tours spanning Canada, Colombia, France, Hong Kong, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Taiwan and the United Kingdom, Third Coast Percussion continues to build a global reputation for excellence.
