The Public Health: Health Education and Promotion bachelor’s degree focuses on science, communication, and service to prepare students to improve health outcomes on a community level.

Students will learn:

  • Foundations of public health 
  • Personal and community health 
  • Behavior change and health communication 
  • Program planning and evaluation 
  • Health policy and systems 
  • Research and data interpretation 

In their courses, students will learn how to assess community needs, design effective health programs, and measure their impact. Many classes will involve hands-on projects that mirror real public health work. Students may develop health campaigns, create educational materials, and practice working through real-world scenarios as a team.
