What is Behavior Intervention Psychology?

Behavior interventions psychology focuses on understanding why people behave the way they do and how to promote positive change. This discipline of psychology studies behavior, designs effective interventions, promotes wellbeing and healthy habits, and applies psychological principles to real-world challenges in a variety of settings.

Introduction to Behavioral Psychology Interventions

The behavior interventions psychology program at BYU-Idaho prepares students to enter the workforce right away. You’ll learn critical principles of psychology and apply it to behavior through collaborative research projects with other students. With a focus on real-world applications, BYU-Idaho gives you the opportunity to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician certification. This certificate can build your foundation for further study in psychology or start you off on your career.

As a student in the behavior interventions psychology major, you’ll:
