
Understand the Difference
The Physics Department offers students a solid foundation in both classical and modern physics. Students in the Pre-Medical emphasis take an additional 12 credits in chemistry and biology. Students gain valuable experience in the lab, and learn all the important components of physics.

Medical Physician
Medical physicians are professionals who practice medicine. They are concerned with promoting, maintaining, or restoring health through the study, diagnosis, and treatment of disease, injury, and other physical and mental impairments. They often work in hospitals or clinics.
Optometrist
Optometrists are health care professionals who provide primary eye care through comprehensive eye examinations to detect and treat various visual abnormalities and eye diseases.
Dentist
Dentistry is a branch of medicine that consists of the study of the mouth. They diagnose, prevent, and treat diseases, disorders, and conditions within the mouth. They even help out the jaw and facial area to help patients feel their best.
