Physics: Astronomy Emphasis (B.S.)

Astronomy is the study of celestial objects in the universe. This includes planets, stars, galaxies, and the overall structure of the universe. Astronomy emphasis students will learn advanced methods and theories related to astronomy, including cosmology and astrophysics.

Physics: Astronomy Introduction

The Physics Department offers students a solid foundation in both classical and modern physics. Astronomy students take an additional 12 credits in astronomy and chemistry. Students gain valuable experience in the lab, and learn all the important components of physics and astronomy.
