Get Involved with Dance Society
Dance Society is open to any student enrolled in a dance class, offering a way to stay involved outside the classroom and connect with others who share similar interests.
Members attend annual trips to conferences, attend workshops, meet and network with dance professionals and alumni, and learn dance styles not offered on campus.
These experiences build relationships, expand skills, and help develop a professional network while still in school.
Build Real Experience Through Teaching
As you progress, you can apply to teach beginning-level dance courses such as jazz, ballet, modern, or social dance.
In these roles, students lead classes, create lesson plans, and help others learn. Faculty mentors guide the process, and positions provide paid, hands-on experience.

Earn Scholarships for Your Involvement
The Dance Talent Award Scholarship supports students who are actively involved in the dance program.
You must be a dance major or a non-major who participates in Collegiate Dancers, Dance Alliance, or the Faculty Showcase.
Awards are based on participation in classes, performances, and activities, and can help cover part or all of tuition.
