Medlir Mema graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor's degree in political science. He earned a master's degree in European Studies and International Economics from the John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, followed by a doctorate degree in international relations from George Washington University.
Dr. Mema has served as an associate professor of political science at Tokyo International University before joining the faculty in the Department of History and Political Science at BYU-Idaho in 2022. He is also the co-founder and co-host of a podcast called "Age of AI", which explores the use of artificial intelligence and international relations.
