Jessica Mecham graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in music. She continued her graduate studies at the Northwesten UNiversity, where she earned a master's degree in music history and literature. Then she returned to BYU and gained a second master's degree in library and music. Finally, she completed a doctorate degree in humanities from Faulkner University.
Dr. Mecham has served as an adjunct professor for Salt Lake Community College and the College of Southern Idaho. She Also lent her corporate research talents to ComUnity Lending, a mortgage banking firm in California. In 2002, she was working as an online professor at Century College when she joined the faculty in the Department of Humanities and Philosophy at BYU-Idaho. In addition to teaching students, Dr. Mecham also serves as a Faculty Association College Representative for the university's Faculty Association Board. Dr. Mecham currently provides online teaching for Southern New Hampshire University, along with her services to BYU-Idaho.
