Biography
I am currently at Brigham Young University - Idaho in the Mathematics department as faculty in the data science program. I worked as a Full Stack Data Scientist in the industry.
While at Northern Trust (NT) and Idaho National Laboratory (INL) I worked on various natural language processing (NLP) data models and built custom Python solutions to transform unstructured data into structured data. SQL was also utilized in ETL processes where software lacked a reporting layer. Power BI with M-query, Dax, and Dashboards was utilized at the INL whereas Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Alteryx were utilized at NT.
My passion is in programming with Python and SQL. I enjoy cross-collaboration with different departments and colleges to enhance the learning and student experience.
