David O. McKay Library Remodel Project
The Board of Directors recently approved a project for a major remodel of the David O. McKay Library. We express our appreciation to the Board for their approval and support of the project, which will be a blessing to our students and faculty. The remodel will be a multi-year project that will be divided into two phases.
Phase One
August 2024 – January of 2026

Phase One Details
- Offices and books have moved from the west to the east wing.
- The library can now be accessed through the west wing's new south entrance facing the amphitheater and through the north entrance facing the Spori Quad.
Library Resource, Locations, and Availability
Although there will be limited access to computers, books, and study space, all library services will be available throughout the remodel.
- Tutoring and other learning centers will remain on the second floor of the east wing.
- Librarian offices will be temporarily moved to the study rooms on the second floor of the east wing.
- The east-wing first-floor computer stations and study areas will be removed to make room for bookshelves.
