Fall 2023 Graduation Information

BYU-Idaho Fall Semester Graduation Events will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, December 13-14, 2023.

December 13-14 Grad Fest: Come to Grad Fest at the Bookstore in the Manwaring Center.

December 14 – College Convocation: 10:00 am, BYUI-Center Auditorium, NO tickets needed. (This is where graduates walk across the stage, their names are read, and they receive a diploma cover* and alumni pin.)

December 14 -  Commencement: 1:00 pm, I-Center Auditorium, tickets ARE needed for this. Order online or get at the Bookstore kiosk. (Graduates do not need a ticket.)

Convocation and Commencement will both be live-streamed. We will email the link for the college a few days before, and Commencement will be available on the live stream page for the school.
Please visit the Graduation website for more information and to order your cap and gown.

  • Diplomas will be mailed to students once final degree requirements have been reviewed and confirmed to have been met.
  • Deadline to have your name in the Commencement Program: June 19, 2023. Final Graduation application deadline: July 19, 2023.
  • You can walk in any Convocation ceremony. Your name card, which you will get at Grad Fest, is your ticket to do this. Families can walk together!
  • We wear BLACK caps and gowns. (You can buy or borrow them.)
  • We do not decorate caps or gowns or wear honor cords. This is a University decision.
