STUDENT HEALTH PLAN DEADLINES - Summer Session 2025 students must either enroll in the BYU-Idaho campus health insurance, or waive it by having their own or being on their parent’s health insurance, by August 4th. New students must also enroll dependents.
All students are required to have acceptable health insurance. BYU-Idaho has a medical coverage plan available to enrolled students. Students could instead have their own health insurance, as long as it is an acceptable substitute, in place of the campus medical coverage plan. Learn more at Student Health Plan.
If students do not meet this deadline, they will not be able to waive the Student Health Plan for the semester.
