Deferments allow a student to miss one of their on-track semesters, and still be an enrolled student, with no need to reapply for admission. There are different reasons for a deferment, and students will need to apply for the specific reason they need to defer. There are Missionary Deferments, Medical Deferments, Spouse of Intern Deferment, Military Readmission Deferment, and Continuing Student Deferment.
