About the Speed and Agility Camp

The Strength and Conditioning Academy program aims to encourage youth between 12-18 years old to stay active and improve their athleticism through increased speed and agility. Athletes will be introduced to age-appropriate strength and conditioning drills aimed to increase physical performance and decrease injury risk. Training will include sprint technique, quick footwork drills, resistance exercise technique, speed work, and more! This camp is beneficial for youth of all ability levels and sports interests.

Additional Camp Information

Camp Safety and Supervision
The camp is supervised by BYU-Idaho faculty. Participants are assigned to small groups for more personalized training. Each group is supervised by coaches majoring in Exercise Physiology at BYU-Idaho. All coaches have extensive background in sports and proper fitness training.
Strength Training Safety for Youth
Strength training is safe and beneficial for youth with proper support and supervision. All camp youth will receive personalized supervision with a camp coach.
Equipment and Attire
All clothing must adhere to the BYU-Idaho Honor Code. Modest athletic wear is required of all participants.
Bring all-purpose exercise shoes and cleats to wear on playing fields and courts.
