Online Instructor Requirements
Online instructors must have a master's degree or higher and reside in a state where BYU-Idaho has established a business presence (Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington).
Teaching experience (classroom and/or online) is preferred, as is work experience in a related field, although candidates are not necessarily excluded from consideration without this background.
While anyone is welcome to apply, BYU-Idaho has a hiring preference for members in good standing in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Employment decisions will be made with this preference in mind.
