Get Connected (New Student Orientation)
This two-day program includes a series of interactive events that provide an introduction to the unique environment at BYU-Idaho, as well as the resources available to students. Participating in Get Connected gives students the opportunity to connect with the University, the Savior, and their potential.

- You may park on campus during Get Connected without a permit. However, permits are required beginning January 4, 2022.

Get Connected FAQ
Is Get Connected mandatory?
It is not, but we strongly encourage all new students to attend.
Why is Get Connected important?
Studies show students who participate in new student orientations are more likely to stay in college, obtain greater academic success, and have more satisfaction with their overall college experience.
Where do I register for Get Connected?
There are multiple locations on campus: the Manwaring Center, Kimball building, and at selected apartment complexes.
Are parents invited to participate?
Parents are invited to participate during the Move-in Day portion of Get Connected.
