The mayor of Rexburg reflects on the Teton Dam disaster 50 years later and its impact today. During this week the community of Rexburg will commemorate this life-altering event through a series of activities.

Idaho Public Television will air the new Idaho Experience documentary "The Teton Dam Disaster" on June 4 and 7. Producers Joan Cartan-Hansen and Aaron Kunz say the documentary will give people an up close look at what it was like to live through the disaster and its aftermath.
