The Annual Whoopee Days Rodeo is Happening This Weekend

The Madison County Fair Grounds are ready for you to have great food and fun July 25 and 26. The Madison County Whoopee Days Rodeo will start at 5 p.m. both nights and includes many different events and activities for members of the community.
There are a few pre-events including mutton bustin’ for little kids, a queen coordination and flag presentation. The first horse bucks around 7:30 p.m., but vendors open at 5 p.m.

Come hungry, because there will be several food vendors selling things like rodeo burgers, barbeque, fries, lemonade and more! Chris Johnson, a member of the Madison County Fair Board said the event will be a good time.

“I tell people bring a jacket and a couple bucks to support the vendors that are there and get yourself a rodeo burger,” said Johnson.

Adults 14 and over can buy a ticket for $10, children 7-13 cost $6, and children 6 and under are free. A family pass, which includes two adults, and four kids can be purchased for $40. For more information visit the Whoopee Days Rodeo website.
