Thomas Mecham and his brother are the owners of Spaws Grooming in Rexburg. Spaws Grooming was named the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce business of the month for January. Mecham is grateful for the recognition this will bring the business and credits the hard-working team at Spaws for the acknowledgement.
“I feel like it's a nod to our team,” Mecham said. “So, the team that we built over there at Spaws Grooming is full of just really talented and committed professionals in the dog grooming space.”
Spaws Grooming offers standard dog grooming done by their staff, in addition to self-serve dog washing stations Mecham feels offer a more convenient option to students and helps the business stand out in Rexburg.
Spaws Grooming is thriving in its third year of business as improvements are expected to come.
“We're actually in the process of renovating a new building here in Rexburg.” Mecham said. “And so, we're going to be moving, hopefully in the next few months, into a space that's just a little bit bigger and can accommodate more of the services that we want to offer to the community.”
