The citizens of Pocatello have been vocal about their opinions on a public mask mandate. On Tuesday, the Pocatello City Council discussed whether to call a meeting to consider a mask mandate, and whether they should consider one in the future if COVID-19 numbers become worse in Pocatello or Bannock County.

Nestled in the corner of Tautphaus Park in Idaho Falls, the well-known amusement park Funland At the Zoo is scheduled for a three-phase renovation project. Once known as Funland Amusement Park, the park has recently been incorporated into the Idaho Falls Zoo at Tautphaus Park.

The My World Discovery Museum located in Chubbuck has a new exhibit to share with the world. The non-profit museum has recently acquired a paleontological dig experience called “Dig in with Adventure Orthodontics.” The experience was paid for and donated by Adventure Orthodontics in Idaho Falls. Natali McKee, one of the co-founders of the museum, says their children’s learning exhibits are all sponsored.

On Tuesday Aug. 17, Madison Cares is proud to host the 17th annual Celebrate You, where people of all ages can explore their community and participate in fun events. The events range from activities like a huge slip-n-slide at Porter Park, or a train ride with Rexburg Police at Madison Middle School, a climbing wall, free book station, free food and much more.
