An Idaho local is opening a new doughnut shop in Idaho Falls following the passing of his stepfather. Randy Jensen was a baker for about 40 years and owned Bakers Dozen in Idaho Falls. He passed away in April.
The Farmer’s Merchant Banquet in Rexburg has been going on for more than 80 years. The theme this year is titled “Plowing Ahead.” Chris Mann, the CEO of the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce, said the theme was chosen in recognition of the agricultural and business communities’ determination to “plow through” despite this difficult year.
