A brand-new wedding venue has popped up in Eastern Idaho.
The Aisle, located in Sugar City, is Eastern Idaho’s newest wedding venue. The Aisle, according to its website, provides a versatile setting for your perfect wedding day, and Debbie Baggett, the owner of The Aisle, says she wants to do just that.
“it's just fun to work with the brides and just give them their dream wedding,” Baggett said.
Baggett did the floral design for her own wedding and fell in love with it. She’s been decorating weddings for 15 years now and is happy to have a place of her own where she can cater to BYU-Idaho students.
“BYU-Idaho girls, a lot of them have mothers that live out of state and they're trying to plan this with their daughter from far away,” Baggett said. “We offer just the venue or we can do full on food, floral decor, day of coordinating, we can do everything. And I love to give the moms a break for that day”
With The Aisle now up and running, Baggett says she is living out her dream.
“I'm living the dream. I'm getting to work with these young girls on their wedding day,” Baggett said. “We also rent out for events, so we've had business dinners, we've had a pageant for handicap kids with disabilities, and we've also been able to help a group on campus. The Polynesian dance group came and did a fundraiser here and had a full luau and show. It was a blast and I loved to being able to help them have a place to do that.”
The Aisle has several packages to choose from for any kind of wedding or event, making the venue a versatile space that will fit every party’s needs.
“We offer eight hours. For girls that are going to the temple to get married, I open up my bride room early so that they can come and get ready with their bridesmaids, moms, friends, and just have that fun experience,” Baggett said. “So they can come, they can have their luncheon reception, send off the whole thing. Or you can come for your 8 hour time and you can add more hours if you'd like and just be here for the day and get ready with your friends and family and do the whole thing here too.”
Just minutes away from Rexburg, The Aisle offers 7,000 square feet of indoor space for patrons to use for their special event.
