The Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce is bringing the Christmas spirit to Rexburg on Nov. 30 with a festive market and light display.
The Christmas Vendor Village, a community holiday market, is an opportunity for community members to buy from local businesses and celebrate the season together.
Rexburg Chamber Communication and Events Director Amelia Lusk said her favorite part of events like these is seeing people get involved in Rexburg.
“The reason why I love these events is because it brings people out of their homes, out of their apartments and you can see people having a good holiday time. I always think of these events like the events you see in the Hallmark Christmas movies,” Lusk said.
The director said the market will also give the businesses an opportunity to gain visibility within the community.
Business owners can register their business for the Christmas Vendor Village until Nov. 23. Space at the market is limited to 22 booths, so register quickly if you would like to guarantee a spot.

The Rexburg Chamber is looking for businesses that will market toward a Christmas-minded audience.
“We are looking for vendors that will bring the Christmas spirit. What I mean by that is we want to accept people into this event that are going to bring the Christmas gifts that people want to buy: just something that’s super presentable,” Lusk said.
The Chamber is holding the Christmas Vendor Village at The Idaho Centennial Carousel at Porter Park from 5 to 9 p.m. The event is free to attend.
Guests will find heating inside the carousel area to combat anticipated cold outdoor temperatures.
The light display at the park starts at 5:30 p.m.
