Starting Saturday, April 13, the Taylorsville Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will have a free public open house until May 18.

The open house will include a short tour of the temple, lasting about 1 hour. The temple is located at 2603 West 4700 South, visible from Interstate 215. The groundbreaking for the Taylorsville Utah Temple was on Oct. 31, 2020. Elder Garrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will dedicate the temple on June 2 in two sessions.

The public is encouraged to make ticket reservations online here, though all are welcome to come within the 9 a.m.-8 p.m. window. Modest dress and comfortable shoes are recommended, as this will be a walking tour of the interior of the temple. Service animals are not permitted in the temple.
