REXBURG-- Bright lights, loud music and an energetic audience, nothing could make a concert better, except for the Holy Ghost.

Festival: A Youth Concert was recently released for all to watch. The concert features songs from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’s youth albums called “Strive to Be.”

“Strive to Be” releases a new album each year designed for youth. The theme of this year's album and concert is “Disciple of Christ.”

The songs are modern and pop-styled songs, with a good message. Each song is faith-affirming and about Christ. Youth worldwide are inspired by the messages, and the concert can be streamed in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

The concert mixes the songs with scripture stories and personal stories from the performers and lasts 60 minutes. Ben Olsen sang his original song “Over Mine” about giving the Lord our hearts at the concert.

“It's very centered on Christ. How Christ is the center of everything,  how we can center our lives on Christ, how he loves us more than anything, that he knows us personally and that we're not too far from his grace. That's kind of what the underlying message of the whole concert,” said Olsen.

The concert is fun and the music is fast, but the holy ghost can still touch the hearts of all those listening.

“The feeling was amazing when we did the concert. The spirit was just super strong. And to watch all of the youth too, we had a couple of FSY groups come to be the audience,” Olsen said. “The feeling was just amazing, the energy from the audience and you could tell that they were feeling the spirit. So I just love that. That was super special for me.”

The concert is available to stream on Strive to Be’s YouTube channel and broadcasts.churchofjesuschrist.org.
