David Archuleta Drive-in Concert in Idaho Falls

BYU-Idaho Radio · Interview with David Archuleta
David Archuleta is performing live this weekend in Eastern Idaho. He will perform a drive-in concert at the Motor Vu Drive-In Theater. Archuleta had plans to perform in Idaho last April but was unable to due to the pandemic.

Comedians have begun doing drive-in concerts, but for Archuleta, this will be a first.

“I have never been to a drive-in concert, so I don’t know what it will be like, but I’m excited,” Archuleta said.

The drive-in concert will be Archuleta’s first live concert this year. Most of the songs he will perform will be from his new album, “Therapy Sessions.”

Archuleta said his goal with the album was to help the listeners feel like they can make their bad days good.

“My goal with the album,” Archuleta said, “would [be to help them know] even though you feel like it’s not the best day, and you are feeling kind of down and low, at least?[you’re]?alive and?[you’re]?going to make the best of it.”

The concert will be held on Saturday, September 19 at 6:30 p.m. The gate will open at 5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at motorvu.us. Prices start at $125 per vehicle.
