The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced the dedication of the Ephraim Utah Temple. This dedication will take place on Oct. 11 and will be performed by Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles at 10:00 a.m.

This dedication will also be broadcast to all church houses within the temple district at that time and will also be rebroadcast at 2:00 p.m.

Before the dedication, there will be a public open house of the new House of the Lord offered to those interested in seeing what goes on in the temple. The open house goes from Sept. 2 – Sept. 19, excluding Sundays.

Utah has 32 temples in operation, under construction or announced. There are 2.2 million Latter-day Saints in the Beehive State, in nearly 5,400 congregations.
