It is day five of SnowFest at BYU-Idaho and it's concert day! Later tonight you're invited to enjoy the musical talents of 2024 American Idol finalists, Mckenna Breinholt and Kaibrienne Richins.
The concert is a ticked event, so check out the BYU-Idaho ticket office. From 8-11 pm there will be lazer tag in the MC ballroom. Tickets are $3.
Earlier today the SnowFest headquarters had a wide variety of activities to get involved with, including a cup sorting event. Contestants had 45 seconds to sort all the cups in the right order.
"I just competed in a high-stakes cup-sorting event here at SnowFest," said one student competitor. "It was epic! Alongside all the other activities, this week has just been baller, in my own words!"
If archery is more what you're into, then SnowFest even had something for you today.
"So we have an archery experience," said a SnowFest volunteer. "So we use our bows and these fake foam-tipped arrows and just practice shooting our archery, and its really fun!"
With SnowFest coming to an end tomorrow, BYU-Idaho students have enjoyed taking part in the festivities, especially last night's pond skimming.
"It's been a good experience overall. I thinks its been a great experience for people to get more involved. It's been a lot of fun just meeting a lot of great new people too. It's really fun! I felt part of the crowd I guess. So yeah, it was good, and the water looked cold, but maybe sometime, maybe next winter that will be something I will do. It was cool!"
For those willing to brave the cold, tomorrow at 10 a.m. there will be a polar plunge at the BYU-Idaho Upper Fields. Free pancakes will be served for spectators and participants during the plunge.
The BYU-Idaho vs Provo Exhibition Basketball Game will take place at 6 p.m. in the Hart Auditorium. The game is sold out, but overflow viewing will be available in the Manwaring Center Crossroads.
Also in the Manwaring Center Crossroads will be the Mountain Motion Picture Film Festival at 7:30 p.m.
