REXBURG—One of the most recognized names in comedy will step onto the BYUI Live! stage this fall. Nate Bargatze will perform on Friday, Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. as part of his Big Dumb Eyes Goes to College tour.
"He is hands down the number one comedian in the world right now," said Tanner Christensen, entertainment promoter for BYUI Live!. "From film, television, touring, I mean, you name it, he's there, so for him to take the time and come to BYU-Idaho is going to be an amazing experience for all who attend."
Bargatze's clean comedy and deadpan delivery has helped him become the country's most in-demand comedians. He recently won the 2026 Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album for "Your Friend, Nate Bargatze." In 2025, the Big Dumb Eyes Tour topped Pollstar's comedy-tour chart.
Tickets for the show go on sale on Thursday for BYU-Idaho students and employees. General public tickets go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. (MDT). You can find them on the byui.edu/live website.
