Bike Rodeo

The First Lutheran Church in Idaho Falls is hosting a Bike Rodeo event for kids in the community this Saturday. The Rodeo goes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature a variety of activities.

“We have a raffle, and we have gift bags for all the kids and a food truck, so I think it will be really fun for them,” said the church administrator, Heide Larson.

Not only will there be a raffle and fun prizes, but bike safety help, helmet checks and an obstacle course. The rodeo is designed to help kids have fun and prepare them for riding their bikes now that the weather has gotten warmer.

Larson said several community shops donated prizes for the raffle and the event falls in line perfectly with May because it’s National Bike Month. Kids will have their helmets and bikes checked.

Kids who attend should bring their own bike and wear a helmet. For more information go to https://firstlc.com/news-upcoming-events.
