The Barber Pop Shop in Rexburg is having its grand opening September 18 and 19 after months of waiting due to COVID-19. This Friday and Saturday the business will offer a variety of prizes and gifts for those attending the grand opening, including free soda both days from noon to 6 p.m.
“It’s going to be awesome,” said Emmeline Bressler, marketing specialist for Barber Pop Shop. “We will also be handing out some more free door prizes… and a $150 gift card to our Barber Spa.”
Bressler said they chose to have the grand opening this weekend because of the students coming back to town for the start of a new semester at BYU-Idaho.
“This is a perfect opportunity to introduce the kids to Barber Pop Shop,” Bressler said.
The Barber Pop Shop offers a variety of haircuts, facials and more along with a soda bar inside the shop. Bressler said what sets them apart from other soda shops in town is the way they measure and pour their syrup.
“We make super high-end drinks, and rather than using pumps we use shot glasses to get the exact measurements that the drink needs. So that creates the best flavor possible,” said Bressler.
