Alexander Batman

News Reporter and Producer

Born in Rexburg, Idaho, and raised in Southeastern Tennessee for the latter half of my life, I am sophomore student at Brigham Young University - Idaho. I am majoring in Communication with a focus in Organizational Leadership and Public Relations. Currently I work as a news reporter and producer, where I organize and write local news for the morning and afternoon show, as well as seek out campus events to report on, with which I create news packages to put on the air.

With a strong interest in interpersonal communication, cultivating relationships, deliberation, leadership, and mentoring, I aim to use my communication background as a springboard into business relations and community leadership. I feel driven by values of purpose, authenticity, and family, and I enjoy finding ways to use my voice to connect with and uplift others, and I'm grateful for opportunities that allow me to do that.

Outside of academics and work, I'm an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I enjoy sports, outdoor adventures, quality time with friends and family, and good conversation.
